We provide a comprehensive digital car sharing and rental platform, offering shared mobility services through self-drive golf carts available for reservation through the Carwayz platform. 10. Eligibility Requirements
To register and use Carwayz services, users must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Hold a valid driving license recognized in Egypt.
- Possess a valid credit or debit card registered in their name.
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Comply with all applicable traffic laws and regulations.
Carwayz services are currently available within Beverly Hills by SODIC, Sheikh Zayed, Egypt. Vehicles may only be operated within approved operating areas unless expressly authorized by Carwayz. Carwayz reserves the right to modify, expand, restrict, or suspend operating zones at any time.
11. Refund & Cancellation Policy
11.1 Round Trip Reservations
Users may cancel a Round Trip reservation free of charge up to 15 minutes before the scheduled booking start time. If a cancellation is made less than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, Carwayz reserves the right to apply cancellation charges.
11.2 Flexible Trips
Flexible Trips are on-demand bookings that begin immediately upon vehicle reservation. Due to the instant nature of the service, Flexible Trips cannot be cancelled once the booking is confirmed.
11.3 No-Show Policy
If a user fails to start or collect the reserved vehicle within the allowed reservation period, the booking may be considered a No-Show. A No-Show fee equivalent to 15 minutes of vehicle usage will be charged.
11.4 Refunds
Eligible refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during the booking. Refund processing times may vary depending on the user's bank or payment provider.
11.5 Service Interruptions
If Carwayz is unable to provide the booked vehicle due to technical issues, operational reasons, or vehicle unavailability, the user may be eligible for: a full refund, booking credit, or a replacement vehicle when available.
11.6 Fraud Prevention
Carwayz reserves the right to refuse refunds where fraudulent activity, abuse of the platform, or violation of the Terms & Conditions is suspected.
12. Terms & Conditions Summary
All vehicles are insured in accordance with applicable Egyptian laws and insurance regulations. Members remain responsible for insurance deductibles, uninsured losses, damage resulting from negligence, misuse, violation of the Agreement, or unauthorized drivers. Carwayz may recover all related costs directly from the Member.
12.1 Membership Structure
Carwayz offers two membership plans:
- Basic Membership: Fee EGP 1,000 | Round Trip: EGP 10/minute | Flexible Trip: EGP 15/minute
- Golden Membership: Fee EGP 3,000 | Round Trip: EGP 7/minute | Flexible Trip: EGP 12/minute (includes priority reservations, priority support, and extended booking privileges)
Membership approval is subject to review of the Member's driving license, National ID, payment method, and other requested info. Registration does not automatically grant access. Members may request cancellation of membership within fourteen (14) days of approval and before the first completed trip.
12.2 Payment Holds & Security Deposits
Members authorize Carwayz to place temporary authorization holds on registered payment cards for security, verification, damages, unpaid trip charges, cleaning fees, penalties, traffic violations, or any amounts owed under the Agreement.
12.3 Vehicle Usage Rules
Vehicles may only be operated between 06:00 AM and 12:00 Midnight. Maximum permitted speed is 25 km/h. The following are strictly prohibited: smoking inside vehicles, transporting pets or animals, reckless driving, allowing unauthorized drivers, and tampering with vehicle systems.
