Details of reservation cancellation rules, fees, and memberships

At Carwayz, we strive to offer a flexible and convenient mobility experience. Please review the cancellation terms outlined below for different trip types and memberships.

Flexible Trip (Flex) Instant Booking

Flexible trips allow free cancellation within a short window from the reservation creation time. If the trip is not started or is cancelled late, the specified cancellation fees apply.
Free Cancellation Window: 15 minutes
Late Cancellation Fee: 0 EGP
Auto-Cancellation Limit: 10 mins from reservation start

Round Trip Scheduled Booking

Round trips can be cancelled free of charge at any time **before** the scheduled reservation start time. If cancelled after the scheduled start, late cancellation fees apply.
Free Cancellation Window: Until scheduled start time
Late Cancellation Fee: Full reservation cost

Scheduled Trip Pre-booked

Scheduled trips can be cancelled free of charge at any time **before** the scheduled reservation start time. If cancelled after the scheduled start, late cancellation fees apply.
Free Cancellation Window: Until scheduled start time
Late Cancellation Fee: Full reservation cost

Delivery Trip (Deliver) Vehicle Delivery

Due to the logistics involved in delivering the vehicle to your location, cancellations must be made sufficiently in advance of the scheduled start time to qualify for free cancellation.
Free Cancellation Window: 15 hours before scheduled start
Late Cancellation Fee: Full reservation cost

Subscription & Membership Cancellation Memberships

The membership system at Carwayz is designed to provide highly discounted rates. The cancellation and refund policy for subscriptions is as follows:

  • Members may request cancellation of their subscription and a full refund within fourteen (14) days of subscription approval, provided they have not completed any trips using that membership.
  • Once the first trip is completed, or after 14 days have passed since approval, the subscription becomes non-refundable and remains active until its expiration.

Active Subscriptions in the System:

Golden Membership 3000 EGP / 12 months
Basic Membership 1000 EGP / 12 months
